The macaw The macaw is one of the most colorful birds in America. These big birds live in tropical rain forests from central Mexico to northern Argentina some are the blue and yellow macaws, the green and red macaws and the red and blue macaws. Macaws have very long tail and big Strong wings. They are very intelligent and sociable birds. They interact with each other more often than other kinds of birds. Macaws live in families, but in the family, they talk to each other constantly. Young birds live with their parents unit they are two or three years old. These beautiful birds live high up in trees and mud, seeds and fruit. Unfortunately, they are in danger of extinction, like many other tropical species.
